The History of 205 Park Avenue

Built in 1851, this fine brick building became the first of several hotels to be located near the railroad tracks; and is the only original hotel standing today.

Originally named the Porter Hotel, its purpose was to host railroad and stagecoach travelers. Over the years the structure served as a hotel, a private residence, a nursing home, and a multi-family rental until being purchased by Val Ciciotti and Kevin McCarthy in 2017.

Since then the couple has undertaken countless renovation projects to restore this iconic Brockport landmark into the hospitable Bed & Breakfast you recognize it as today.
